I can't imagine Ben Wilson coming back for that contest.

Sharing the stoke of kiteboarding is really what is all about,
I guess i've been neglecting to see the bright side. I think its important that the locals represent there area in a way that is positive to the sport.
If there's a bad apple, dont cut the entire tree...make compost

I will be on the sidelines for this event for this year
but perhaps next year if this deal
actually materializes.
If there is a chance to further sailing, it will be
when racing.
As far as wave sailing it should be interesting to see how it's judged.
I've spent some time with Jeff Kafka and find him genuine and a nice guy.
I would think he could pull this off |

| Ben Wilson wouldn't win anyway, he's more of a cruiser. They will be lucky to get wind picking 3 predetermined days. They should have just had it on call like the tow contest, then it is guaranteed to run in good conditions and sets a precedent for future contests. I hope it does run but it is a shot in the dark for sure. |

| Just wondering why there are no women invited or included in this contest? If there is any strategy in these events, women often do better in the races than the men. And yes, there are women out there who rip in the waves... |
