I did not make any recommendations forrest. Not ONE. The closest I came was to say that above all Lessons are a good idea. And THAT, is why reading with COMPREHENSION is an important skill to have 'Jethro'!!!!

My post was basically to tell YOU(as in type of self impressed rider)that you should not be so heavy handed in YOUR own recommendations. What version of Hooked on Phonics do you have???? The old 'C' version sucks! Anything 'prior to 04 is not worth owning'. I say that as an EXPERIENCED writer/reader/talker... until YOU are then you should not make recommendations. See how that works? More to life than what kite ya got!

Fuck you, eat a dick! I'm done with this conversation. Yeap, you're way smarter than I.

Just about to head out to Rooster Rock, there will be plenty of naked man there for you to munch on. I'll bring my camera.

Ps when I see you show up for a CGKA meeting, or even become a member, and do half what Forrest has done for our sport, then and only then will I respect you.

Keep Kooking away as I love the entertainment.

Well...I am 50..have all my teeth and ONE cavity. So until you are experienced about taking care of teeth(figured you were proud of the 'not a tooth' you are showing?)you "should not be"(quoting you here) talking back to me about teeth. Again...'there ya go'.

Besides...in the orient NEGATIVE spaces are very important, so it would fit right in. You might even say it is cosmic. I did lop off the end of one of my fingers with a powersaw(did not hurt a bit oddly)so it is not as if I think I am better than you. Just putting the BRAKES on YOU thinking YOU are better than me.

A cat ate my fingertip(so I have closure!)...where is your tooth????

Fine dude. (Something tells me that is the right term to use here), If KB'rs are all you respect and gave up room for two sides of any topic due to THAT, then I'm not going to worry too much about it. I do not take away from what forrest has done "for"...I just read(as a newbie he/you/some others obviously disrespect)a good bit of his NON helpful views. Of course I forgot the the sport of Kiteboarding was SEALED after YOU joined!!! Jesus...there definitely are babies here! I haven't changed my kids diapers for 10 years and so why would I start again...with yours?

'C' ya.

I don't think I'm better than you, I know I'm better than you. My kiting skills are far superior to yours. That makes me a better and cooler person, that gets way more kiter chicks than you.

I let my teeth rot out so I could have a little more personality and something to differentiate myself from all the other pro kiteboarders that make my skills look weak.

The sooner your understand the pecking order of skills in this society, the further you'll go!

Forrest is an incredibly smart dude... I work in software development and know enough to tell you the work he does in software security is way tougher than what 99% of people in IT do (including me.)

The irony is what makes his avatar and "Hick" tag line so friggin funny.

Kind of like the Irony of having a picture of yourself with "I'm very handsome" under it. Maybe it should change to "I have a 200+ IQ"

Your kooky administration picked the avatar and comment off the web...not me. THAT is how 'democratic' things 'are' here!!

Re: forrests tooth: Great...(sounds good anyway or is that just the day he learned not to use a leash??...hmmm I learned that in CLASS). "pushes the limits" of credibility. In more than one way. And I lost my fingertip being the BEST builder in MY industry!....so blah blah you said blah blah ?? EVERYBODY is good at something but I'm supposed to kiss his ass because he is a great(just ask him)KB'r? Or 'club we're cool and everybody else sucks' will get offended? this must be a High School forum!?

Well...looks like new guys are totally unwelcomed here and so I leave you WITH that issue...which is and shall remain your own. Man...if people were this touchy in my industry NO-one would ever learn anything. This forum is kind of a nasty neighborhood...glad I can afford to cruise better streets'. If I was a chicken...I would worry about "pecking order".

The good ol boys network is EVERYWHERE!!!! Yeeeeehawwww!

Actually, I believe "brah" is the correct terminology to be used here.

In general, when people's advice that could prevent you from injuring yourself goes ignored, they tend to ramp up the intensity of their advice. When you come back and dig your heels in and start insinuating that everyone is stupid or full of themselves, people come out and mock because at that point it is ridiculous.

I should point out that your original 200 IQ and hang glider knowledge you were quite sure that gear and what kite you had did not make a damn bit of difference..

to wit:

Kite Me wrote:
There are PLENTY of videos and riders who prove that the older gear works just fine. I watched guys KB the gorge in 2004 on '04 slingshot Fuels, and now I have one. Those of you who are dissing the old stuff...remember...YOU learned on it. Got a beef with how "hard" it was????...go fly a hang glider...no water to catch you. Babies!!!!

What is in your will, drive and intelligence to learn and do, is more important than what kite/year/model is over your head. I KNOW this to be true. Fortunately, SO did the owner/seller of this quiver.

So... 'KITE Me!'

Care to revise your statement? We learned on those came C-kites and actually mine was a year older..so WTF? You got and took a lesson and low and behold.."I'm going to get me one of them bow kites" Who needs a diaper now?

Sorry, at this point I'm just trying to be ridiculous.

Kite Me, come to Rooster Rock and get a session. After you meet a few of us you'll understand our sense of humor.
