1pm on last day, blowing 16-20, about 80 degrees out.

Rico: Doesn't anyone want to kite?

Phil: My knee!

Toby: My feet!

Rico: Okay I will go again.

Thanks Tony for the great visit to your Winter playground!

Hey Adam, it's a Sanyo Xacti VPC-CA65 Waterproof camcorder...got it straight from Hong Kong here: http://www.warehouse123.com/ProductInfo.php?pid=SANVPCCA65-WHT
The US model number is Sanyo Xacti VPC-E1 and costs a bit more.

It took about 8 tries to get the camera rigged to include the rider so only have 3 sessions from the kite during the whole trip Sad Would love to see some gorge footage from up above...just imagine footage from the kiddie pools in HR or riding sliders on 20M lines!

yes to the blowout! ..even just the perspective from Stevenson with the lineup of kites and riders going for it would be amazing from up above, much less the race footage. I'll get a picture or diagram together by this weekend for you.

I may have to expand on this a little... i might have to mount my helmet cam on my kite and point it forward (or backwards) so you don't just see the kiter, you see everyone else...though it might make you sick to watch if I have to sine my kite as much as I did last time!

Henry,

I was just on the Kiteboarding Magazines FTP site and noticed your file! I EXPECT to see lots of your shots showing up over the next six months in the mags. Nice work man, and your photography has definitely stepped up well into the pro-catagory! Sure wish I had more time for creative shoots...

Nice work, Bams
