Here are some shots from today- was one of the clearest day I have seen. Could see kites at the flats from Holly

As the PDX guys rode the onshore winds at Holly, we went and hit the offshore easterlies with the Bolstads at the North Flats for the sunset session!

8 straight days of riding.....

Aaaawwww.... Tony and Carol cruising in the sunset. Where's the wine and cheese?

I love when you guys hit the road. Keep the pics coming! Can't Phil duct tape that knee up and get back on the water?

Next time you are stuck bumper deep in the North flats at 3am, there is only one man to call.

Another beautiful day in SPI, and kind of a fun day to be a spectator.
The crew nearly swept the top spots in today's speed competition hosted by South Padre Kiteboarding, taking 1st, 2nd, 4th, and 5th place
(Trevor, Toby, Shay, and Henry respectively)

congrats doods!

Then team LF and team Bolstad put on a big show right at sunset. Tekko, Tonia, Grom, Shannon, Tony and Carol were all going off... sweet!

Kiting looks really fun, I hope to try it someday.... Wink

Most of us only have 11m as our big kite, so when its topping out at 18mph the Glide + 11m is a good combo. Toby has been able to ride his 13m and small board well when everyone else needs Glide or skim to stay upwind. The nice thing about SPI though is there is no chop at all, so the Glide is super easy to ride.

Our second day had the most wind so far, 7m easy (graph below.) There have been some good short board seshs. Today and tomorrow look like good 9m. Good news because Nicole gets here today Very Happy

Been going off!!!! Kiting everyday! Body hurts!

Finally stopped being a chicken and got over the blind hump that has held me back for the past 2.5 years! Landed a few raley to blind then had the confidence to go for the front 2 blind. Finished the night with 10+ of each clean, pass, ride away.

So nice to have the whole NWkite crew there for support on the most progressive day of kiting I've had since I moved from Hatteras to the Gorge in the fall of 2005!!
