Thanks for letting some of us live vicariously through your pictures. I was out at the event site on Friday, it was blowing 0-35, cold and cloudy, made me wish I was in Padre.
I love the night kiting pictures. Glad to see you all didn't get skunked and that everyone is going to be back home in one piece. After a few of the initial reports I wasn't so sure

Rico shot some pretty cool photos at sunset yesterday, its been light since the main crew departure though. Now watching Rico and Toby mow it up on some loaner big LF kites from Tekko (thanks man!)
Truly epic trip, I would say best kite trip for me ever easily, except for the whole knee injury which made it so I only got 4 sessions. Though two of those were my favorites in a long time (lit flat water and night kiting.)
The healthy guys got kiting everyday. Sure a few were lighter days, but there were also several epic 9m days in the butter. The 3 night kiting sessions were awesome, and I'd say out here with the shallow water, you can do it relatively safe and without too much risk as long as you know what you are doing (ie: don't drive into the water just for better spectating.)
Rico and Colby spent as much time kiting as they did working on photos and video. Its really awesome to have good friends that also happen to have awesome camera gear and photo skills to make you are getting just that much more out of your vacation.
This place is a fun playground, and it'd be good to see more NW folks show the gapers what's up. This is my 5th year and I don't think I'll need to try to hard to find justification to come back again next year.

Cool shot, Mark! What did you use to shoot the video? One of those little Oregon Scientific cams like the ATC2K by chance, or something more expensive?

Just got a new Olympus 1030 sw. Neat little camera. Waterproof to 33', 10.1 mega pixals.

Hard to belive that the wind was blowing around 15-18 mph. It was so shallow it just wouldn't ripple up. Kept bumping into "red fish" that were about 12" long. _________________ Cleverly disguised as an adult...

Amazing trip for sure cant wait to go back.
Big thanks to Tekko, Carol and Tony for the board demos. They were great I am really stoked about the strapless surfboard now and that girls LF board was sweet. Also big thanks to the boys for keeping the stoke going the whole trip.
There is one thing I am not going to miss at all which is the smell of that van
