that was a rattle snake?
I only saw it in the water when we met more than once and I pretended it was a vegie eater.
Same thing I saw about Tekko's sharks too when I see them.

Here's the info requested showing placement of the little sanyo xacti camera...
The cam is lying flat and the viewpoint lines up directly with the leading edge seam (3rd pic). Depending on the kite, you may have air nozzles in the way so it might be easier to experiment with using the main strut as a tie point (2nd pic)...just get the camera angle the same as the first pic.
We cinched the camera down using the extra tie lines that come with the Slingshot bar...and then ran them around the back of the main strut and looped it over the top of the camera (the Xacti already had a tie loop built into the camera for a water leash) - not much of an engineering feat, but it held through a few crashes with the kite.
hope this helps!
a Brooklyn front yard as it should be

experiment with this if the nozzles are in the way

after 8 attempts this is the angle that worked

cool NYC kite shot colby! any new yorkers stop and ask you about that crazy thing on the sidewalk? or did they just attempt to pop it b/c it was in their way?
hook up with any NY/NJ kiters yet? met a girl from around there this summer out at rufus... she mentioned an east coast forum that she said was pretty good.
i am actually here in Washington DC for a meeting... such a lovely day today... 70+ degrees, sunny... and windy... I swear I would have put up a 9m this afternoon if I just knew where... think "W" would mind me taking few tacks in the reflection pool in front of the white house? now that's a good use for the kite cam!

mystergirl! That kitecam thing was Trevor's idea, I just had to sacrifice better judgment and the camera...nice vid Trev!
DC?! To think we almost had a windsurfer turning kiter in the whitehouse - the shame! It just started warming up here so haven't met the East coast gang yet but will hold out for Gman to give the tour ...and we're heading West in June so catch you and that strange guy you pal around with soon!

Your spray looks so cool Henry!
Really a unique look.
I hope you don't mind me asking how you get that.
Is it additional sharpening in post, or just mad skillz? or both?
