...SMALL CRAFT ADVISORY FOR WINDS IN EFFECT FROM 5 PM THURSDAY TO
5 PM PDT SATURDAY...
THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN PORTLAND HAS ISSUED A SMALL CRAFT
ADVISORY FOR WINDS...WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM 5 PM THURSDAY TO
5 PM PDT SATURDAY.
NORTHERLY WINDS WILL INCREASE THURSDAY AFTERNOON TO 15 TO 20 KT
WITH GUSTS TO 25 KT AND CONTINUE THROUGH SATURDAY. WINDS MAY
SLACKEN FOR A FEW HOURS DURING THE OVERNIGHT PERIODS BUT ARE
EXPECTED TO REBOUND AGAIN EACH MORNING.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
A SMALL CRAFT ADVISORY FOR WIND MEANS THAT WIND SPEEDS OF 21 TO
33 KNOTS ARE EXPECTED. INEXPERIENCED MARINERS...ESPECIALLY THOSE
OPERATING SMALLER VESSELS SHOULD AVOID NAVIGATING IN THESE
CONDITIONS. |

Yeah, I cancelled all my meetings, then almost had to cancel my marriage to get loose! Thanks for understanding Mrs. S. And anyone who wants to throw a BBQ in Portland over a windy coastal weekend is NO FRIEND OF OURS ANYWAY!

Haha, at least spare the wildlife.
