Schucks, completely forgot I am getting scuba certified up here the Floras lake weekend.

Tonia, keep me in the loop on other possible clinics. Hope y'all have a stellar time down there. Smile

So far, we've had wind Sat and Monday. Sunday was a bit of a bust, but it was Sunny and warm. Flags are already moving around this morning.

Campground was a total zoo when we arrived Friday night, but Monday morning everyone just evaporated.

Someone stole two boards and several kites from the Brady's rental area on Sunday night, just FYI, keep your stuff on lock down. Hope to be putting a description of the items up here soon so we can all lookout for them.

We have a small commune in the SW corner of the camp behind Matt's SOL bus. It's been fun!

Hope to see more friends down here soon!

Just a heads up on Nate.

He is on his way down to Floras right now and he has with him our demo 2009 LF HAVOC kites as well as our Surftech woody skimboard and the Nobile skimboard to demo.

I also gave Nate our GoPro POV mount digital camera to play with while he is down there. This is a camera that can be mounted anywhere you choose, on a helmet, on the kitelines, or even on the kites, so we are hoping he comes back with some cool new shots.

What kite size is typical at Floras?

Once you get into the park, where's everyone camping?

Typical kite size down there is like a 17m, also be careful of sharks in the lake, they'll sometimes swim up the river from the ocean. And to answer your question about the campsite read forrests post it will answer all questions you may have.

It's 8m-17m really. Average is probably 8-10m. Don't let the haters win! We're all in the back SW corner, though Katie and I are in the Bed and Breakfast chillin like villians.

Unfortunately, I can't make it now to Floras Lake for the weekend. Sad This is the last weekend I can get in for my Pilates Certification course that I have been trying to do for 6 months, and I can't miss it. Bummer.... 3 days in Functional Anatomy while all of you are ripping it up. Rolling Eyes

Get some wake AND wave sessions in for me!!

Damn, it's been windy, my whole body aches. Forecast looks windy all the way through the weekend. We're only staying until Sunday evening though.
