Trailer It! I'll be there for sure!

I expect to have room for 1 person plus gear if someone wants to ride from PDX. Planning on leaving Thursday (9/4) evening and returning on late Monday or Tuesday.

We'll make the call Friday morning as far as the Forecast is concerned. If it doesn't look like the weekend will produce wind, we'll bump it to the next weekend.

Bring some boots to put on your board. I'll try to collect a few boards that can be used on the slider as well so you don't have to worry about messing up your board.

Nope, they laugh at the notion of using them. Of course riding bindings down there is more of a hassle if you want to ride some waves that are just a hop over a dune.

I see...and after laughing about boots they go and ride a twin tip in some overhead waves? Hmm....Why not use boots in the flat water and a surfboard in the waves? Switching in and out of boots doesn't take very long by the way. Takes me about 10 seconds to pop out of mine.

Sounds like a fun trip, will see if I can make it.

Nah, dude, I'm serious about looking good on the beach, drinking beer, and working hard. Figure out which one's true.

I guess I'll just have to weigh my options as far as taking time off. Otherwise it'd be a no brainer.

If there was a clinic, I wouldn't have any other choice than to be there. Very Happy

I am sure there are other Seattle area women who would be interested as well.

Hopefully you can make it down then you will see that using boots on the lake and surfboard in the ocean is somewhat impractical down there, at least for Reed and Josh. being that the ocean is mabye 100 yds over a dune from the lake, so it would be an even greater hassel to deal with two boards.

Carol and I are coming down, just don't know yet what day we're going to get there. We'll have an extra surf board or two with us if someone needs to borrow one. We've also got an extra tent or two if someone needs one for the weekend.

Tonia: maybe you or Greg can put on an unhooked session for us? Teach us how to get an S bend and a hoochie glide? I'm also hoping for some strapless time in the surf.

Tony

If I can figure out how to get the slider down there, I'm going to do a Slider Clinic for anyone willing.

Now I just need to find a flat bed trailer. Anyone have one?
