I'm about to head to Jones. Have room for 1 if anyone want to meet up either near Conelius Pass and 26 or 30.

I just jumped in at Stevenson for about an hour, it was 7m. 9m would probably have been better. Those fishing nets aren't really in the way at all. It looked like SI might disappoint, so I went east.

Just talked to Diggy. He said highway 30 is closed through Scap town due to accident involving a school bus. He's trying to find a way around, but might need to take I-5 North to Clatskanie. I might consider leaving for Jones before 4pm.

Get any at SI? If so, what was your kite/board size?

got some! would have been powered 11m, but I was out my 16 rhino, needless to say it was quite exciting. As usual the wind shut off every thirty minutes to leave you swimming in, but another 30 minutes and we were back on the water (4 or 5 of us there)

Jones Delivers Solid with Solitude, Just me and 3 Bald Eagles. Upper teens or low 20's, lit on my 11M.

I timed it on my way back, pretty much exactly one hour from Jone Beach to Cornelius Pass.

Nice Diggy and SI crew. Glad everyone got some. Carl and I had a good time at the HR kiddie pool, which is now the size of the entire sandbar. Great to ride in 2-3ft deep water everywhere Smile. Rode the new LF Concept board with some boots and had a great time. The slider and kicker look sweet. Can't wait to hit em.

Riding was pretty good yesterday evening. I didn't get in the water till 5pm and rode till about 6:20. Water level was so high, it was unreal. Was 4 feet deep where the kiddie pool normally is located.

If Jones is blowing then sauvie typically blows. They both shut off at around the same time..

Jones has a pretty special dynamic and can't be equated to the same conditions as the upriver spots closer to Longview/PDX - though they can blow the same in typical high-pressure systems we get in the summer. When the marine layer pushes in to the coast range and stops (the coast usually gets nothing), it is like a mini-HR corridor. When this is setup (like yesterday), Jones really goes off and blows WNW and Kalama, SI, etc. may, and "typically" not get anything. That's why the hole on the WA side is called 'Nuclear Alley'. It is rare if SI ever blows anything close to nuclear.

Just noting this for future predictions and planning Smile
