Jackie and I just got back from the Cape...and Bryan was there too..
Dude, this place rocks!! Go to googlemaps.com and look at Cape Cod, MA. HOLY BEACHES!!!!!! rode the bays, but next time we'll get some waves.
Got 2 days out of 5 cuz we had to drink with the family.

JAckie wore a shortie, me a 1mil top...and Bryan a full suit.
Temp was great maybe 75ish... water bearable, but if you were in it for awhile then a suit was nice....
but once the sun went down it got real cold.

Oh man, I read nwkite to see pics of the Gorge....but here I see my area....funny.
I hope you got out on the north side (CC Bay) on Saturday (15th)...there were some nice waves...
Water is getting cold quickly now...could have worn a fullsuit (4/3) on Saturday, whereas only 2 weeks ago could have gotten away with a shortie. Winter's on the way....

Dude, we were so crammed for time, but I was gonna hit you up and get some info on the spots... so, Jackie and Bryan kinda filled me in..
We kited in Waqoye? Bay near Falmouth on a SW and then Barnstable Harbor on a NW....Bryan killed it on Sat. (8m conditions on the Vineyard)
Had a potential day in Edgartown on the swell side by the sand spit you can drive on, where the mouth is huge now from a Nor-Easter, but couldnt get close enough with the boat we had(it drew like 4ft)
-Jackie could fill ya in on the rest... Jax?

Waquoit Bay...it's a good spot for S/SE and SSW. SW can gusty, how was it for you? Pretty flat and lots of room, it's a good spot. Barnstable Harbor on the 15th? Where did you launch from? Did you launch at the end of Millway Rd, which is in Barnstable Village, the beach is just beyond Millway Marine and Mattakese Wharf Restaurant? If so, and you looked east from there on Saturday you probably saw 30+ kites. That beach is called Chapin Beach, which is in Dennis and a good spot for NW in the mid-Cape area. It gets some nice medium size waves (2'-5') with strong NW/N/NE winds.
I'm kind of partial to spots further East, because that's where I live, but it all depends how far you want to drive. Typically the waves are on the ocean side, Atlantic side, so towns such as Chatham, Orleans, Eastham, Wellfleet. Nantucket Sound (south side of CC) and Cape Cod Bay (north side of CC) will get some breaking swell/waves in strong wind.
Nice pictures and glad you had a good trip to Cape Cod.

Hey Jimmy - yeah we were in Waquiot bay, i was on my 9M - could have probably been on a 7, the wind was up an down and a bit gusty, but it was great to get out there!
Saturday we were in Barnstable harbor, actually at the end of Bone Hill Road - does that ring a bell? off 6A (it was about 2 miles from the cape cod mall) actually we left a 06 waroo bar there - SO if you happened to be in the area.....when we got there it was nuking, we saw the 30 kites to the east.....i got a couple tacks in, but then the wind died..bummer!!
next time Jake and i are out East, we'll look you up and head toward Chatham...that seems to be where the best wind is!

That's about a 1/4 mile from where I work so I'll go look now (it's lunch time). I'll post a note too if I don't find it. Did you contact the local shop? Kitesite.net, speak to Philip. Sometimes when people find kiteboarding items they drop it off to him.
Let you know what I find....
Chatham is nice, but doesn't work on a NW...so we usually go to the Bay. Wind is strange here, can be cranking at one beach and dead a few miles away...I remember the Gorge being like that also....
