Hey I didn't expect to have to bring my 8 meter kite but does anybody think it could be that windy at this event? I have never snow kited yet but in all the vids I see I hardly ever see small kites. I think I have to bring it now that somebody mentioned 7/8m. Can't wait to see you all in Fairfield!

Haha! I KNOW!! But we are already bringing 5 kites in my Subaru and I just don't know how much more room we are going to have but you are totally right Chooch, I gotta bring my 8. I def don't wanna be on a bigger kite than I need to be on my first go at this. We are going to import some cases of Rainer too in case they run out of beer in Fairfield I just am worried about the room in my car at this point but kites are priority in this situation... but beer is a close second. Beer and gear. So stoked, thanks!!!

I'm bring the 14, 12, 8, 10, 6, an older 13, a 9, I think I have access to an 11. I'm also bringing my 165 all montain board, a 145 trick board, a toboggan, an orange death coaster, a hooker, a bunch of weed, 12 extra pairs of underwear, 5 rolls of saran wrap, a gallon of sanitizing gel, assless chaps, a donkey (female), 12 cases of beer and ONE condom.

I'm I forgetting anything?

Size does matter ya'll, don't believe what your g-friend tells you about the motion in the ocean making up for not swinging a double-X Magnum.

That said, this weekend was all 7-8m action with Easterlies gusting to 36 Sat & Westerlies into the low 30's on Sun. Crazy weekend weather-wise, good thing is the circular flow of wind spread the 6" we received perfectly in the gullies and ridgetops.....just in time to let er' rip.

Oh and leave the donkey at home--we prefer sheep and velcro gloves in cowboy Camas country. Assless chaps are a good idea--especially for the rail jam sponsored by the Slider Project. (No Homo)

See ya out there......

MOTO probably doesn't want to part with them, but you forgot to list ankle weights.

Well I figured is there is no wind, we can send the hooker and donkey over to Tony's hotel room and they can put on a show. That way, any video from the weekend will have something more interesting in it besides a bunch of dudes drinking beer and standing in the snow.

Crisco is an excellent idea!! you think butter flavored or regular?

Better go with butter. It might help to mask some of the other "flavors" that are sure to arise from the debauchery cocktail you have listed.javascript:emoticon('Twisted Evil')

PMB - I think that's a pretty standard quiver for Fairfield.

Cloudy, snowy and cold in Fairfield but is it going to be WINDY on Soldier Mountain? I am only seeing about 8-10 mph winds in Fairfield for the next couple days but my guess is that there should be a little more wind on Soldier, at least I am crossing my fingers that there will be. Anybody have any data on the actual wind at the site?

Chooch is right, don't bother looking at NOAA for the Fairfield area b/c the event site is 30 miles away on a frozen plateau that generates its own weather.

If you see unstable weather in the forecast (i.e. SNow, then it WILL be windy).

Use this for gauging wind on-site: http://mesowest.utah.edu/cgi-bin/droman/meso_base.cgi?stn=ITD51&product=&time=LOCAL
