Umm... Yes. Although, is all of that Titanium? Less effect than steel in the detector I think...

So, do we need to add into our race class structure a division for kiters with bionic super powers to compete against each other?

It all stays in! Unless the bone doesn't get proper blood flow. Will know in six months. Worst case, bad blood flow to the bone, they will take the whole thing out and replace with a fake ball and upper arm.

Seems to be healing nicely. No tendon or nerve damage.

Yes it will trip the metal detectors ,

It could be worse, my doc told me "50 years ago we would have cut that OFF!"
The creepyness of different materials wears off , sooner or later ?
Makes one apperciate the changes in weather so much more Confused
but "you will never break that there again" if that's any consolation Laughing

Hey Mark, next time you think you might do something like that to yourself, let me know ahead of time so I can buy futures in titanium and stainless steel. I'll share my windfall 60/40--you can have the 60% Smile.

Actually, quite an impressive x-ray. Hope the healing process is ahead of schedule.

Take it easy Mark.

Ohh you baby, and here I thought you really broke your shoulder.

Too bad they didn't use steel in there, then you could have worn cool refrigerator magnets on your shoulder.

here is a cool video of paragliding with the hawks and vultures. They use the birds to help find thermals. They then feed the birds treats.

This is one of the reasons for the risks!

so true,
fly with the birds ,like a bird

a totally encompassing sport
nothing tunes your focus like falling.

I've spent hours in thermals with soaring birds
amazing how the birds of pray don't mind being very close in the air
buzzards don't like it
I have a dozen screws and an eight inch piece of stainless for $80K Embarassed
