Mark Sorry to hear about your accident. I hope you recover and continue flying. Its sad when you get so excited about flying and whamo you are hit with beginers luck bad luck I should say.

Anyway how bout a description of the accident
What were the conditions?
Was it a no wind landing hand down?
Did you attempt a PLF?

What happened?
Don't forget to send your accident report to USHPA. It really helps other pilots as you maybe aware of in the magazine which im sure you are a member of.

I too had a accident that hurt very bad. Rest and Recover. Pay close attention to those bills they skyrocket quickly.

hey mark,
so sorry to hear about your injury! Maybe you should look into one of the old chrysler air bag reserves... saved Kinsley's ass numerous times!

Get better soon and get back on the horse as soon as you can:-)

Feel better Mark.
Impressive that you got yourself back to the vehicle and back down the rough road.
See you soon.

I was thinking the same thing - the brother was running the shuttle Thumb's Up
but didn't you also try to walk off a punctured lung when that boat runned you over?

That is a drag, I hope you heal up fast. We are moving down to Davis for the year, so I will have to catch up with you some time in the summer!!

Take care,

Total bummer Mark.
Good thing its not early spring.
You will have lots of time to rest and heal up for next season.
Dont forget to do you PT 3 times per day. That will get you back on track.

We will miss you around here Lance, good luck to you and your significant other.
Hope to cross paths with you again soon.

Barnes....you crazy bastard this is lame news. Very glad it wasn't your neck. Looking forward to tipping some cold ones together to help get that shoulder back in shape.

Heal quick, keep the morphine close, and your lap "puta gato" even closer....just in case.

Ken
