Take it easy. Those broken shoulders can really really hurt. Not to be rude but I bet your bone doctor was excited, not everyday you get such a hardcore injury as broken in 3 places shoulder!! I've done that myself, its painful on cold day for life... I always say if your gonna break something do it by doing something hardcore.. Props...

I know, horrible. But I would have thought the bird would be able to avoid that pretty easily. :\

Mark,
It looks like your bones are lined up nicely. How are your tendons and ligaments?
I hope your recovery is going well.

Alignment does appear pretty good. At the same time that kinda looks like some barbaric torture device. Hope it all grows together nice and smooth.

That X-Ray should be used as the warning label on every paraglider sold.
Sooner or later...
Now give me some oxy-whatever!

Jesus Mark, scary shit! Does any of that come out, or does it all stay in? You're going to freak out the TSA guys at the airport!

It all stays in! Unless the bone doesn't get proper blood flow. Will know in six months. Worst case, bad blood flow to the bone, they will take the whole thing out and replace with a fake ball and upper arm.
Seems to be healing nicely. No tendon or nerve damage.
Actually its all done for extra power for next years Blowout race!
Kind of wonder if it will trip the metal detectors at the airport?
