Took this long to get this over here??

Sweet jump the kite had nothing to do with it. Almost nailed a windsurfer and thought nothing of pulling the safety amazing Shocked
Although could have been brutal.

The travel and carry was not what he was expecting You can be sure of that. He was no where near anyone on takeoff.

Mark,

Really!? I think this is the problem with kiting. We are losing the essence of control and beauty to volume. Ruben goes huge with something related to style, and as I progress in kitboarding my view of impressive is something inbetween the hardcore wakestyle and massive air. Watch what Hadlow is doing this year with taking his technical tricks a little larger... That is what I am finding as impressive these days.

But, to all you Gorge Wakestylers and Rail Grinders... What your doing is also way more impressive than this huck, hang on, and dangle move! Keep the hardcore movement rolling.

Kite on, Jon

Haha that video has got to really piss off Ricci Lossi. Yo Fo send that link over to the Florida forums and start some havoc.

I lived in Alabama way too long to be anywhere near lightning. Especially with something flying 27 meters above me and attached to me.

I like it!

Takes some serious cojones to pull the trigger in that strong of wind and then have to kite loop to keep the kite going downwind as fast as the rider.

Looks more impressive to me then scraping some plywood in a river!!

Try em both before you bash em. I am sure you will find out how much balls it actually takes to man up on hitting a feature when its staring you in the face.

He did a Super-Whoopie! Big, but Amery would have had done the same with his kite at 30 degrees off the water and for a lot longer. Surprised

One of these days we will get through a post where people can give props to one group without putting down another. Well, probably not, but one can dream....

Its the american way, put down others in an attempt to make themself somehow appear better than everyone else ( in their own estimation anyway )

Share the stoke Not the hate

One Question...If it all about the "wakestyle" and not big air why not just Wakeboard?

Do what gets you off and ignore the haters

Thanks for the Video Very Happy

For one, not everyone owns a $60k boat. If we did we'd certainly be hitting that as well. Also, kiting does allow for more variety and different styles.

This is a stupid argument. Do what is fun for you, but don't claim shit unless you've tried everything and know what you're talking about.

Flogging Molly rocks! Just saw them in concert. Why don't we all go do something fun instead of rehashing the same old debate.

Jon,
I am more the type to give props to anyone pushing the edge. Be it big big air, hitting sliders, strapless slider action, strapless anything for that matter, wave riding, wake style or anything that someone is helping to push the boundaries of of our sport.
