The sensor is in the parking lot, terribly unreliable. The cam is the best way to judge for sure.

So on these gorge easterlies. how do you stay up wind while fighting the current?

I hear this weekend Stevenson might blow east but I've never ridden the gorge on an east so any feedback would be much appreciated.

a) Ride your ass off
b) Find a pond outta the current
c) Do a downwinder with your homies
d) All of the above

Check out Rooster Rock for a nice big sandy beach and lots of naked guys. Stevenson ain't got nothing on that.

Dude, staying up wind is a little harder, but still totally doable. Plenty of dudes out there rockin the east winds. You just have to edge up wind a little harder.

Not that big a deal , current hasnt been an issue for me at Rooster anyway. Never been to Stevenson to ride. (Bit of Cold shoulder localisim attitude the couple times I have stopped to scope it out)

Get out there and get some, I am headed to Rooster tomorrow if conditions are right

Rooster is much safer than Stevenson for easterlies. Nothing like a mile or two of beach minus some danglers.... on the water and off!

Rolling back to town to find forecast 90 and Easterlies! SWEET. See ya at Rooster. My favorite time of year.
