The swell is going to be big Sunday. Magicseaweed is saying 5 feet 15 seconds for PC.

Should be fun.

Florence is ok, IMO i,d go to Newport.

Way better launch and landing there, camping is right there, bathroom and showers right at the launch. Launch is the day-use parking at the state park.

Waves should be better than they have been really anywhere. I don't think there are any photos of Florence, but I saw some recently of Newport when the swell was super huge in late June and the wind was strong. Newport has a bigger population base and port than Florence, hence it has more of everything except those dunes.

Although not the ideal riding spot, everyone should try to get down to FLO...just for the sake of keeping those lonely guys company..

Don't go to FLO if you FLOW cause its where the sharks GO, you KNOW?

I like Newport more too, I only go to Florence for the local flavor.
