Mark,
As promised, here are a few images from your first days of paragliding... Nice work getting eighteen flight in just over two days and some excellent work done in progressing along to your P2. I am over in Lienz, and the flying is off the hook. When I get back in early October, I will get the higher resolution images to you.

Mark,
Get that P2 done buddy and get a wing! Then we can come back to flying Nirvana here in the Alps. Here are a few from today with the Go Pro and my XC wing. Tomorrow it should be a bit better and I will be heading to a nearby lake for some full on ACRO... Hopefully I will have some good upside down video and images tomorrow.
Bams... out!

Good to see more kiteboarders are learning to fly. I got my P1 in Cashmere too. Great spot to learn.
The two sports overlap so much its crazy. Especially with snowkiting.

Definitely fits well with our Kiting life. I am heading back up to finish my P2 Sep1 for 2 or so days. Anyone want to come along?
Here is a quickie video I shot with my GoPro. May or may not have music as you tube sucks with allowing music.... (yes hein I purchased the music!)

Lets see. Prices are different around the area.
Here is a basic break down.
$350 for intro course
$1500 for P2 rating (needed to be able to jump pretty much anywhere)
harness $700ish
Wing $3500
Of course you can find used wings and gear. If you take your lessons and purchase from the same guy you get a deal as well.
Probably other stuff I am spacing but that's the basics. Unlike kiting, a single wing will suffice untill you want to do Acro or Long Distance ect. _________________ Cleverly disguised as an adult...
