Pretty much everyone uses the GoJo these days. I wouldn't be caught without mine.

Alright, before everyone starts making fun of the GoJoe, you have to ask yourself if looking cool is better than loosing your board... DO NOT USE A REEL LEASH or a lease of any kind.

What the others have said. because of the current in the gorge, pretty much everyone in the gorge has a go joe. You can get them anywhere. I think Blake at Gorge P was super excited about the new color scheme.

I use the GoJoe and a leash just to be REALLY SAFE.

Also no reel leash, I use one of those bungee style ones that gets me my board back QUICK.

If you get a bungee style leash make sure it’s at least 9ft long so it won’t bitch slap you as hard when you totally eat shit! I recommend a helmet and impact vest as a complementary safety gear. I gota say, I do love my GoJoe

I am switching from a green GoJoe to an orange GoJoe this year. I'll give it up next year. Maybe. Cool

a go joe and a good reel leash (Modified or not) is pretty much essential gear for riding in the big swell on the coast west.

I have even heard of fists flying when some wanker show up without one and threatens the safety of a launch.

oh and one thing you forgot ... floatation devices.... Shocked

someone really needs to put together a beginners tool kit....

Idea

and florence has no A

frenchy... looks by locations listed on your info that you own this state and are well traveled as a kiter I am sure you've seen these essentials tons.

I really can't believe there are not more custom options for the go joes yet...

Pretty cool toy and seems to be functional, too!! Anything that plays a part in saving a $600 board is very very cool!! almost lost mine last summer at Manzi. Took me a good hour to retrieve it as the wind was dying and the swell was still big. Bought a GoJo but haven't used it yet! I'll give it a try this season at the coast.

In an emergency situation, the GoJoe can also be used as a strapless internal flotation device. Simply insert and inflate! Your friends will be amazed by your mysterious buoyancy. Be sure to attach a safety leash to your GoJoe prior to insertion for easy removal...
