I think this is the best format for a competition I've seen. I like the way they split the age brackets. I also like the way they describe the "freestyle competition". It's truely free which IMO is the way it should be. I'd love it if BOG took on this format. I want to go but don't think I'll be off the injured list by then. Looks great though.

Hell ya, that sounds fun as hell. I wanna hear more about the Slider Park! Sounds like the Slider event has a good budget! I hope they're using metal so that stuff lasts.

BOTG does breakdown the competition into juniors, mens, masters & womens. That's alot of competition for one weekend. What other categories are you suggesting? I just atteded a comp in Florida and they clumped all the males into differnt heats and women into their heats with no age desigations. It was fun to watch, but hard to keep track because of the rapid fire sequence of the comp.
Keep the feedback coming, we are working hard to keep the BOTG the best amateur event running.
Sorry to highjack the thread.

SPR:
29' and under,
30-40
40+
I don't know if they had a jr.

As I understand the BOG is:

junior, (kiddy)
up to 40 (men)
and 40+ (masters)

Also judging on the freestyle will include marks for all round rider's:
big air, wake style, rails, grabs, etc. and marks for fluidness and style. A true "free"style comp.

Don't mind the hi-jack,

I would love to do BOG. I am more of an all round rider, I can do a couple passes but it's not all I focus on. It would be nice to have a comp designed for the all round rider not focusing on who can do the most difficult HP.

AMEN!

To bad Bachar isn't a kiteboarder, he would be able to do one armed handle passes with 38 extra pounds strapped to his waist. You rock climbers know what I'm talking about.

lets not make this too scary, the organizers are already stressed 97.73% of the time putting things together - gonna be worth it tho!

y'all better go snowkiting and get some practice in.
