Heading to Georgetown Lake for the GTO Snowkite event. I will be leaving from Portland early morning on Friday December 5th. We have a cabin reserved with Matty (SOL) and the SOKA crew on the lake. PM if you want to hitch a ride with me. I probably will have room for 2 other kiters and their gear. Cool

You should hit up Joby, the Slider Project is working to supply some rails for the event, and he could probably use an extra helping hand since I can't make it.

Update for all those looking into the Georgetown Lake Trip next weekend. Looks like the temps have finally dropped and the lake has a nice layer of ice with a small snow base. Calling for snow the next 4 out of 7 days so it should be on.

I'm going to be in Gtown lake over the turkey day holiday. Visiting my brother who lives in Missoula.
I'm soooo excited.
I'm getting some skis today from a friend.

Looks like its going to be a good forecast. There's already people out there kiting on the lake. Now all we need is several inches of pow and maybe some sunshine.(but that might be pushin it
