It's been done on the sandbar, but the closest I've seen to HR is Hospital Hill (looks crazy and not that much fun). I've ridden Dalles Mountain and Timberline a bit. Search those on here and you should find some stuff.

With snow on the Camas (southeast of Boise) it's time to wax and grind the board and get ready to ride! NOAA is calling for 4-6 in overnight, be riding by Halloween at this rate.

Come on out NW'ers....it's gonna be sick!

I wish it would. My guess is most of this early snowfall will have a chance to melt before winter comes. Let's hope it doesn't.

is there a good place to kite on the snow near hood river?

The only spot is the sandbar when it snows and the wind actually blows as well. I think this was a one in a lifetime type of snowkiting.

I'm totally down for an Idaho trip. For me it has to happen by early January cause of the bun in the over.

PoWerEdUp, you got some floor space?

For sure! I'll have some vaca saved up for possibly even two long weekend trips in Jan. So if the snow has fallen and there's wind coming then it's ON.

Sick action up there, brrr--it's post La Nina freezeup!

Floor action galore, bring the beer and crash pad.

Check www.idahokitesports.com for vid's and pics of the Camas goods.
