Hammer.

Jake and Joby Cook ride HiFi's down at the sandbar and can give you there feedback. Also, TJ, New Winds Instructor Rides them as well.

Definitely designed for what you're looking for - wakesyle/looping

I have 7m/9m demo and can arrange a 12 if needed.. so let me know when you want to ride them.

Pepi has a few at 2nd Wind in Hood River and I know that they are discounted right now...

5 line C kite, seen Joby and Jake do sick stuff on them.

Don't compare kites across brands, bad monkey.

You can also check on kitescoop for more reviews since those guys are all about wakestyle. When I tried it the kite felt great unhooked and looped fast with some good pull. Sounds like it's what you're looking for.

no? no, 5 line mid aspect c kite.
Rev is a 4 line high aspect bridal/Hybrid kite.

You should think before you speak.

Looks like a good kite, almost as good as my fuels ...

oopsie, double foul! kite v kite and calling a no hybrid a hybrid. I was just reading the LF website. They said 5th line hybrid.. If it's a 5 line C kite then what is so hybrid about it?

There should be a contest to decide which kite company has the most confusing descriptions of their kites or the most ridiculous names for stuff that is on every kite.

"self sealing rapid air induction terminal " oh you mean the inflation valve. Very Happy

It is a C style Hybrid.

Hybrid, because the 5th line works in much the same way as our SLE kites.. while providing the direct feel that 5th line kites gives... without having a 5th line come down through the bar.. so it is just like our standard 4 line SLE bar, below the front line and 5th line connection point.

Leash and relaunch work just like our Havoc or Session SLE's, by connecting to the main depower line.

It IS more of a classic C shape though.. the Hybrid comes from the control and bar...

Oddly.. it actually has slightly more depower than our 08 Havoc SLE

Can't call it a C kite.. because C is a four letter word in the industry... so it get's the completely obscure 'Hybrid' label, as it is essentially a Hybrid between C style shape and SLE bar and controls.

Definitely need to get out and fly one if you are interested and wondering. My 7m and 9m are available at any time... and as I said.. I can arrange a 12m/ or 15m demo.

There is a full 7,9,12 quiver at 2nd Wind... on sale...

Maybe they mean it's got the depower of a flatter kite, but handles more like a C-kite? At least that's how it feels when you fly it. That's why there's demos. So you don't have to try and interpret marketing propaganda. On that note, what the hell is a hybrid anyway and who decided what it means?

Man, I'd much rather be kiting than discussing marketing terms right now Sad

I saw a kite that had an "octopus inflation system" Oddly enough, it only had 5 struts... More like "starfish inflation system" except that sounds gay.

My cat has a starfish, although I have NEVER tried to inflate him using that opening.

The "Pentapus Inflation system" was shot down by thier marketing dept. It just didn't have the same catchy ring to it

BTW MonkeyBoy that painted a very disturbing image in my head Laughing

tekko said it all

hybrid just means they don't wanna call it a c kite so they sell more. the only difference in the shape, that i can see, is the diamond wing tip.
the bar setup is sweet even though i don't use it

all i no is that it pulls great, more like a boat, solid when you go to edge and pop
other kites out there like the fuel are great for wake, too.
but the more moderate aspect shape of the hi fi makes the kite set back in the window more and pull hard, where a higher aspect shape will fly closer to the edge with less resistance(edging)

the higher aspect kite might go a little higher when you send it, but if you wanna go high get a bow kite and ride OPTTM
i have flown ian and dylans kites. i like them(duh they are fuels) but i like the hi fi better.

any who
it is a dope ass kite for riding low and hot, and crashing/relaunching
