Have you guys been enjoying all the swag/samples and love from the suppliers?

Support the companies that support our sport. Next time you receive a sample or swag, weather it be sunscreen, chap stick, energy bar, drinks, gear etc.
Make sure to thank the people who gave it to you.

Also make sure to thank the local shops that have been very generous to us this year with swag and BBQs (beer too)!

Next time you make a choice on where to buy something, think about who has been there for you. I would make a list, but I don't want to forget anyone.

Shout Out to Slingshot....

I wrote and asked them where I might buy a Slingshot flag to proudly fly over these northern parts in Alaska. I think it was Shymac who sent me one gratis, along with a pair of slingshot gloves that by chance matched my snow kiting suit.

Slingshot is awesome! They have sponsored many events. Also, much thanks for the t-shirts, sweatshirts hats and jackets they've been throwing at the SWAG crowds this year! Not to mention their warehouse sale at BOTG Surprised

Last weekend at Stevenson I counted 15 or so kites, all but one were slingshot. Pretty funny.

Liquid Force has also been more than generous.

I will admit that Slingshot's involvement and support with last summer's Gorge events were a major factor when I considered purchasing a new kite.
I ultimately enlisted in the SS army with a 11m rev.

Not that slingy needs any more props, but they've been taking care of me since 2004. Customer service means the world and they deliver. The product is OK too. Wink

Celebrity swag is good too!

I got to hang with Ruben for a little while at Manzo one day and after that I went out and bought a quiver of Revs and two Lunacy's. I'm a sucker for talent. No regrets tho that's for sure!
