I do not have a concealed weapons permit or own a hand gun, but, when I read stuff like this It makes me think I am an idiot for not getting some proper training, a gun and permit.

This A**hole is lucky the victim did not carry a gun or this assault may have had a happier ending.

Hey SalmonSlayer, it's important to note that the victim would most likely have been charged with murder had that scenario played out like that. It would be hard to justify use of deadly force against a 72 year old person with a baton and mace.

If you use your weapon, you're guilty until proven innocent, simply because you've received training and been given a special privilege of carrying a weapon.

yeah, I thought computer people stayed up all night writing code, forgoing bathing, and eating processed food until they eventually realize the sun has come up at which point they stumble around in a pixel induced haze with a blank stares and water eyes?

my daughters and thier families was fishing/taking in the sun at sauvies the other day
one of the guys caught a 46" sturgeon(2" short)
as they were taking a picture of him holding it up
you could see something in the background out in the water
as the camera pulled in the object into view
you could see it was a grey haired guy naked floating on an air mattress
smoking a cigerette
