seroiusly don't f@# it up!
Ride her strapless with a sharpie in your wetsuit... ok. Now, if you can, reach down and outline your feet with the marker while riding...
um huh

The stance is the same distance apart as my slingshot misfit twin tip. I have riden it strapless and found that I can ride it within about 4" forward from where the pad is now or back within 3" of the v in the pin stripe. The stance is 22" center to center. I havent stuck them down yet but I want to tomorow so I can test it out before the CGKA Blowout. I dont want to @*^# it up.

Front pad looks a bit small. Maybe take those back and get this from NSI.

i was talking to John Doyle about pad placement on surfboards. His take on it was wider for a surfboard than a twin-tip...this keeps you lower and in a more aggressive stance.

#1 for your drawing.

after rideing strapless for a month I am even more confused with strap placemen on surfboards. It seem like you need two back straps. strapless I ride with my backfoot way back on the kick pad when on a wave or swell. when I am heading up wind I have it all the to the front of the kick pad. I do not move my front foot around much this leads to a wide stance when turning and a narrow stance going up wind.

the top picture is best because you will have the little hump to push against when you jibe. Wider yes.

Wider. Yes.
I usually ride a stance of 80cm (I'm 6'5" though), with the back foot over the leading edge of the back fin. I end up being exactly the same strapless too (or wider for punts).
Go as wide as you can... you'll know it's too wide when your back knee digs in to the face as you're completing a bottom turn. Then back it off just slightly.

That's for a thruster setup where you want a bit more drive though. You can get away with slightly narrower on a fish where you're looking for more snappy turns in mushy waves.

I'd go with bigger pads if you can for strapless riding. Something like the DaKine longboard pad works pretty well or the NSI system although it probably costs more.

Just run a front foot strap, on a different note are those a new system from Da Kine, haven't seen them with the foot strap inserts before.

Are you suggesting using only 1 strap? I've seen a rare few people do this and I would strongly advise against it. Either commit to learning strapless and figure out how to handle waves w/o straps or just stick with both straps. Anyone that's been tossed by a decent sized wave and had one foot come out of the straps knows how easy it is to mess up your leg.

I don't care for pads ,
wax is fine for me

very nice looking Fish
one strap would be a way to fuck up your knee
if you came out and was spun in a wave
