from what I've experienced from shooting on the water, you want to have the freedom and flexibility of moving when things go bad.
If you shoot from something like that and are strapped in, what happens when someone comes mach speed and loses an edge.
your reaction time is not quick enough and very bad things will happen.
looks cool I guess for some solitude water time.
