I will be down in Bandon next week and wonder if anybody knows of any good spots for wave sailing other than Face Rock and Wiskey run.

Oh there's a ton, but you gots to find em. are we talking wave sailing or kiting, because whiskey most certainly sucks for wavesailing.

Thanks rich!

If your able to travel, the best clean breaks with wind would have to be near cape blanco/paradise point. Face rock would be a second choice. pistol river third and whiskey run fourth. the best breaks on a south wind is crescent city (thats right)

hope that helps, get in touch when your in the area, i'll come out and ride witcha's

How about paddling with a longboard in light winds? I'm headed to the south coast this week. A little camping a Floras, looking to stay occupied in all conditions. What's the primo downwinder down there?
Question

the best downwinder i've done so far is from south access to floras lake. (bandon to floras). 12 miles of down the line action, but your going thru an area with NO HELP. so if you crash and break a line....its a long walk.

You should have nothing to worry about with light winds this week. There should be some good southerlies this week.
