some of the new rings are very hard. Hospitals have a hard time cutting them off if need be.....
Better to take it off prior to risky behavior. _________________ Cleverly disguised as an adult...

I can totally see that with a Titanium wedding band. For future, I will not be kiting with my ring on. _________________ It's always happy hour somewhere in the world. |

CAUTION: Urban myth being perpetuated. My jewler told me they would have to cut my finger off to get a titanium ring off. fact is, not true. If a tool can cut through stainless steel, it can cut through your titanium ring.
Don't be like this german guy though...

That's probably true, but a gold ring is probably much softer than Titanium or even Silver or Platinum. _________________ It's always happy hour somewhere in the world. |

nah, platinum is just as soft or softer than gold. Most industrial applications for Pt metal they have to add Iridium to in order to increase its hardness
I must have a fat finger or someting cause my ring never slips off! |

Don't be too risky.. wear a condom.
Speaking of risky behaviour - I stopped wearing a ring when it caught on the latch of a door frame while I was walking into my office - yanking me off my feet by my ring finger - hurt like hell but nothing broke and the finger stayed attached. _________________ Go Deep!
