It's another windy, but freakin chilly, day in the Hood and I am beginning to wonder if the sun will ever get it's act together and give us some heat any day soon.

So, a couple of us were talking last night while freezing by the river, and we thought that it is about time for us to do something about the chilly weather and lack of sun.
Two options came to mind:

A) Sacrifice a Virgin?

OR

B) Get a gallon of gas, a couple bottles of Tequila and an old kite from our shop basement, then head down to the Sandbar in the evening and make a sacrifice?

I'm tired of this crappy weather and want to do something about it.

I have a better idea:

Burning Kook

Like Burning Man, but the wooden statue will have a life vest and a board leash, and will be holding 2001 model Liquid Force pickle fork in one hand and a 2 line kite in the other.

NICE! We do have a 2-line kite somewhere, and plenty of old worn leashes.

I like the fire idea. I can even bring some Tequila. Probably easier than option A since virgins are hard to find these days.

Can the burning Kook be a virgin? That would really seal the deal Very Happy

I might have a pickle fork I can dig up. DEQ and EPA won't like it, but I'll donate it if I still have it.

Yeah, that had occured to me as well. A plywood cutout would work just as well and not produce unicorn killing fumes.

Actually, tonight party might be a great opportunity to host the sacrifice.

The Moustache Party tonight typically is filled with mostly kiters and, since there will be windsurfers there, we may as well try to toss in a sail as well.

I'll check in with A-Train, Rob and the rest of the windance-house crew to see if they would allow us to do the sacrifice at the party.

Having the sacrifice Saturday night will conflict with the kite movie party at the River City (which is running kind of early in the evening).

I'll post once I get ahold of one of the residents of the windance-house.

Thanks
Pepi
