The CGKA is holding the its first annual Demo Day on June 14th. So far we have Naish, Slingshot, Best, Liquid Force, Litewave, Globe Kites, North and Dakine signed up.  Caution Kites is hopefully going to make it as well. Should be a great opportunity to try out the latest kites and boards.
The demo day will run from 10am to 4pm. Cost is $10 for CGKA members and $25 for non-members.
BBQ and inflatable kids castle will be provided so bring the family.
Keep checking as I will post as more vendors will likely sign up.

BONUS!!!!!! We've been pestering and begging our Smith Sales Rep to get us the keys too the SMITH SLIDER LIMO all winter so that we could bring it down to the Sandbar for the slider boys.
I Just spoke with our Smith Optics Rep and he has come through for us.
We'll be bringing down the SMITH OPTICS SLIDER LIMO down to the Spit for the demo weekend.
For safety reasons, the driver will likely have the Limo parked at the sandbar parking lot and for the party on Saturday and then on Sunday he'll bring it down to the Spit for the Liquid Force Team to slide for a photo/video shoot.
June 14-15 will be the most bad-assed weekend of the summer!!!!

Yeah, a ramp is key. We don't wanna have to dangle up to the rail like the guy in those photos. Can't wait.

Can you see about getting some companies to demo harnesses? I'm riding the guys Mystic Firestarter and it gives a lot of support since it is so wide and I have a short waist, but I'm limited to amount of bending I can do at the waist because it is so wide on me. I would appreciate some girl harnesses to demo before throwing $200 at a new one that I might not like. Bet some of the guys would like to try mine too. Its also good to know what size to buy.

Just got word that Dre will be coming out with the LF boys (Davey Blair, Slezak, Moehau, and Mauricio). This weekend will be so off the hook it will hands down be the best weekend of the summer, next to the Kiteboard 4 Cancer Event.
