| Anyone going to head to the spit today? I haven't been kiting since a week ago sunday. I need a fix and the winds look decent enough. I just finished up work for the day and need some wind!! |

Heading down around 3 with some new kites and boards to try out.
Only 2nd time out this year, so will still be looking like a super gaper on the water.

I seem to notice that quite a few people on this forum are "just finishing up work for the day" around 1pm. What is your secret? I think I need a career change. |

Actually, I just am finishing up feeding the kids, changing some diapers and putting them to bed. My wife is giving me a hall-pass since she gets to go running while I do this.
Usually I don't get onto the water unless it is a dawn patrol at 8am or dusk patrol after 6pm.
Although, I do have to agree with you. Many of our customers have got their work hours dialed in much better than I do.
Note to those of you who see me on the water this year: a newborn boy, 4yr old girl and a growing business have taken their toll on both my physique and water skills. I think that I might be reaching OG status soon.

I don't have a set schedule and I kite when I can. I ended up working both saturday and sunday - and now I have off Tuesday and Wednesday. Maybe next week I'll have thursday and friday and work the weekend - its hard to say - week to week it changes. So I take advantage of the time I have.
By the way - today was good  up and down of course - but I was doing pretty good on a 9M and then a couple of hours later switched to a 11M and then decided to pack it all up cus the winds were starting to shut off. |

I saw Terremoto out there, tried to spray him with water but messed it all up. He just gave me a funny look!

lol, yea, that water was so shallow and Jake/Joby were killin it in there. I try something and go rolling across the ground like there wasn't 18 inches of water there in the first place.
Fun session though, first long session of the year.
