Come join 2nd Wind Sports and Royal Kiteboarding for The ROYAL Kiteboard Party at the River City Saloon with live music from "SALEM".
Party details:
THE ROYAL KITEBOARD PARTY
w/ live music from X-Games band "SALEM"
Brought to you by : 2nd Wind Sports, Royal Kiteboarding and Dakine.
When : Saturday Evening May 17th, starting @ 9pm
Where : The River City Saloon, Hood River OR
Why : To listen to an amalgamation of funk, hip-hop, jazz, and Afro-Cuban music from "SALEM", who just finished playing at the Winter X Games with De La Soul, the US Freeskiing Open Party, and then the Jeep King of the Mountain World Championships.
This is the party that kicks off the start of our kite season as we shake off the chilly Spring weather, welcome the Canadians visiting on Victoria Day Weekend, catch up with the local crews from Seattle, HR and PDX, and last, but not least, jump up on stage to earn some free shwag from 2nd Wind Sports, Royal Kiteboarding and Dakine.
Drink of the night : Crown and Cokes will be $4(instead of $5.50) and we'll have 50 free drinks to giveaway throughout the evening.
Cover : $7 a person/$5 for card carrying CGKA members

ALSO, for those of you looking for something to do on Friday night in preparation for The Annual Kiteboard Party, BRAVE DAVE mentioned to me the other day that he is planning on hosting his Annual Backyard Party on Friday May 16th.
Look for an updated posting from Brave Dave very soon!!

Hell yeah! Next weekend is off-da-hook. There's a "little person" stripping at the SAFARI in East P-town next Friday. Just saw the ad while driving by last night.

Yay, me likey Pepi partay... though I am curious why he hires vampires... 
Oh yeah and thanks to the CGKA folks that worked the table and got people signed up and paid. Especially Mark doing the "hard sell" on Toby from KiteForum.
