Enough to ride and do a few jumps/tricks..but only got windy once Cesar left and Mark had to leave for a dinner party.
I miss Maui and Padre warm water! |

Manzo was the place to be for sure, but we started out in the Gorge waiting on a bogus IWindsurf forecast. It was actually blowing light easterly when we left.
From now on I am only paying attention to the NOAA Dalles forecast. Its way more accurate once you know how to read it.
The Sauvies forecast looked pretty okay so we drove from HR to Sauvies. Hung out with Caesar and Carlitos and KidCorporate for a couple hours waiting for the wind. Drinking beers... "it's coming up" ... Classic Sauvies. |

Manzo was all good. The forecast was calling for lighter winds than actually delivered. I wasn't expecting such a strong day - I wasn't even going to bring my smaller kites, but monkey boy convinced me to throw them in "just in case" - very glad I did |

| Manzo was as good as porn! Two days of downwinders. 12m on Saturday, 8m on Sunday. Lots of friends and smiles, I loved every minute of being out there. |

And up it came! I only had to burn three beers for it to happen. _________________ Let's go kite. |

I dunno about sad, but I was scared of the really shallow (less than 2" deep) water. haha! Glad Sauvies worked for you guys! As Tucker and I were cruising back across the Fremont ~9:00ish, the flags were still pegged out! _________________ myspace.com/adamuyemura |

Saturday at Lyle was freakin' awesome! TinyE, Spike, and I were the first 3 out on the water. It was kind of off-and-on, but then it picked up to a perfect 9m day. I must say for the first time out on the water in like 6 months, I wasn't as rusty as I thought. Also, seeing Ruben and all you other local riders tearing it up was VERY insperational. You guys rock!
Let the season begin....and never end. |
