OT: Columbia River Sea Lions?

So I saw this big dark thing bobbing its head out in the river at the airport the other day.
Turns out it was a sea lion.
Guess they hunt salmon and sturgeon all the way up to the dam.
Anybody hear about this?

Don't get to close, Sea Lions have been known to mistake your trouser salmon for an actual salmon! Razz

I've seen those bastards munching down at Rooster Rock. They won't bother you unless you get to close, then they'll growl like a dog.

the sea lions have discovered the salmon buffet at Bonneville dam. Don't they know they need a take permit to kill ESA salmon? LOL
