				| I grew up in CO, but live in P-town now. I've had successful missions at Odell Lake, Cresent Lake & Cultus. Always wanted to try Elk Lake - Especially for snowkiting, but have never hit the wind write. Odell blows like clock work everyday typically. Launching is tough but doable with the buddy system from the docks on the north shore. Cresent...launching is super sketch with all the rocks, but nice once you get out... Cultus - Boat launched. Never tried Haystack (due to fear of sickness) and have always wanted to try Billy Chinook. It would seem you'd have to water launch or boat lauch for sure. If there's a will there's a way... | |

				| IKE - Cool. Was it steady? I couldn't have gone if I wanted to. I was busy getting stuff done so I can go to The LC (Lincoln City) tomorrow for a few days. The surf looks like it is going to be huge but it's looking good for the bay Weds and possibly a surf session Thurs.
How is the longboard treating you? I got to the fairgrounds last week and it was ripping. I had to toss my squirrely kite once because I though I could ride out a gust and was heading for the East fence at mach-10. Good thing for that grass. I pulled out the short board for a while but I was literally doing four wheel slides trying to ride upwind. It was pretty fun but a little sketchy.

				| It wasnt really very steady, untill after I went dredging for weeds then it seemed to fill in, figures. Would have gone out again after cleaning off the lines but I had to get back home. Still a decent time though. Looked at the wind charts when I got home and it looked like it really picked up, 20-32 mph . Next two days look strong too, cant get out today but maybe thursday again.
Longboard works great, lot better than the MB on the light wind days. I did get a little MB in at Seaside last week for the first time , that is a lot of fun too when it is to light for the ocean

Wish I could get to LC this week but it wont work this time
