You mean they're not unwinding when you spin your bar out? Or are all the lines getting "twisted"? |

not a big deal, where the centerlines attach at the chicken loop you can rotate it with one hand (the part with the cleat attached to it) to un-twist your lines
EDIT: that only untwists your thick spectra power trim line
not sure how to resolve that... not really sure how that can even happen Last edited by Spike on Mon Mar 17, 08 9:51 pm; edited 1 time in total |

the way i've done it before,....
for every spin, do one the opposite way. That dials in your rotations, and free's up the twist at the same time.
since i hook my leash to my chicken loop now, i just un-hooked and use my hand to rotate the chicken loop until the twist becomes free. All the twist goes into your leash |

yup, eithewr do the trick the opposite way..or put one of those mickeymouse ears that spins on it. SS has it their bars (older at least) and Naish has a version on some of their bars...

Mickey Mouse ears won't be of any help if it's winding up because of the leash. The swivel on the Lock-N-Load chicken loop eliminates the need for a upper swivel (where the M.M. ears used to work), but either way, when you attach a leash above or below, you will always wind up if only doing spins/loops/etc. one way.
Now if for some reason you aren't using a leash and the Lock-N-Load swivel isn't freely spinning, a Mickey Mouse ring might help... though I'd probably just change the lower bearing first. |

Its ok. It shouldn't effect the kite in any way really.

Yeah the centers can be all buggered... long as they don't wrap around the outside lines too much you'll still fly ok! |

Twisty lines teach you to do spins / downloops both ways. Keeps you from getting in a rut trick wise. |
