JP and I used to fly our kites on campus. Go to the BIG field across from Park West apartments on 15th and E Street. Or the field between 30th-35th and Jefferson... though I think they put soccer goals in there.

EDIT: P.S. - At least you were prepared with your impact vest. lol

Yea man the field across from dixon is huge. much better to thrash your kite on it.

I couldn't resist. not the most ideal place: downwind fence, power lines, gusty winds and trees, but oh well, its kiting nonetheless Twisted Evil Cool

Here are a couple pics with advice for those interested in in-town kiting
(thanks to slingshot durability my kite survived )

Are you in that little "field" off of Kings and Lincoln? Kinkos in the background with the FedEx truck? haha!

Spike, maybe you should go to the town and have them get rid of that tree so there is nothing to stop you from getting dragged into that building behind it!
Rolling Eyes good luck with any warranty issues on that T2, or to resell it on this site Twisted Evil Twisted Evil

SPIKE!!!

WHAT THE HELL WERE YOU THINKING!!!!!!!!!!!!

You need a 17m!,....and where is your board???? i dont see any "gayleys"

Try shorter lines,...and get something with wheels for crying out loud. A kids big wheel trike would be perfect!!!

Might as well do a tow-up with that fed-ex truck while your at it

In My opinion the impact vest is what makes these pictures priceless, I think Dakine should think about featuring these right up there with Ian Walsh towing in in Tahiti etc.!

Way to slay the back yard Spike!
