okay, someone needs to comment on this. First, the paddle blade should be the other way around..not pointin into the sky, but of you hole you paddle like that you will only dig down, and your stroke is super inefficient..oh and back hand on top of the paddle..othwise no power...second of all, you need ride DOWN the wave not stand infront of it..., thirdly, IF you want to turn a board like that, stand way back, lift up the nose, in the middle you will only pearl, and the board will not at all turn, once on the back step on the side to get your edge...you'll see that even a big floaty boards like that turns pretty well. Smile

The 11'6 ideal beginner board, the 10'6 is made for more power, speed and riding waves. Single fin vs. Thruster, the 10'6 has a lot less volume, and the rail is a lot thinner....but the board keeps the volume in the middle where you want it....you can even attach sails on them. They are actually getting a lot of attention in the SUP environment....anyhoooo
I'm heading out in the morning...

Anyone who knows how to ride a longboard should try SUP.... Smile

sorry it had to be said... Sad now I feel like an ass..I am not sure what that feels like, but i am pretty sure it something like this....

Thx for the tips alex. We get the paddle holding technique, just not in that shot... Bambam also mentioned standing on the back to turn fast, makes sense!

Your pics are awesome. It looks like fun. How long are you going to be there? What are the pic locations as I want to go play there too? T & I are coming over next Friday, the 29th. Anyone going to be around still? We're probably going to miss ya so leave us a treasure map and bury your extra Corona's and we'll get them when we get off the plane. Leave some wind for us too.

He's flyin' a Cab, so that's okay... haha j/k. Laughing

Don't ever post shit like that again, Trevor. How come you weren't on security duty? Next time you see him, go test his kites looping ability while he's hooked in on the beach!
