Woke up to pouring rain on BDE. Guess Maui is giving us a wet kiss goodbye. We did get a pretty good late day sesh in at Kihei, sun came out and I got a few jumps in on the lil board and Bettyboarder had a good sesh. Only was good for an hour or so though.

Super fun trip with a great crew (we were 12 deep at one point.) Special thanks to BamBam for hooking us up with a great Naish surf board, and for recommending we check out stand up paddle surfing which really made the windless days a heck of a lot of fun.

Can't wait to get back to Oregon and strap on the drysuit now. Very Happy

Hey and Rico your holding out on a few photos, stop working and get em posted. Very Happy

Hey Guys,

Sorry about the lack of wind, and at least you scored epic conditions in the first five days. Sounds like the Stand-Ups were a hit. Did Trevor ever get that professional surfing contract with Quiksilver worked out?

Anyway, just got back from a few good days of hucking my carcass out of airplanes in San Diego. Check out the image of me maching at 120mph towards earth.

See ya all again when I see ya, Bams

Hope this thing opens or I am gonna be some damn flat roadkill.

Nice shot Bammer! thanks for being such a good host. Yeah we mostly got skunked for wind the second week, though were able to mess around in Kihei a few days on some Konas.

Stupid question, but, when paddle boarding, how do you get out to the break if there is no channel Shocked - Or was the channel open? When does the break start to close out there? Last spring, it was about head high with the biggest sets, and pretty nice shape Very Happy
