Hey KSG1,

I’ve had good experience with DaKine bags. Long haul bags have extra protective padding and often wheels for towing around multiple boards and gear. These bags can be a bit large for local use but it can work.

You may want to get a long haul bag and also a light weight bag for local use. I use the same light weight bag for kiteboards in the summer and snowboards in the winter.

Also check out Burton bags: http://www.burton.com/Gear/Default.aspx#/other/boardbags/subcat/subCat.swf

I have a dakine bag with out wheels which works great for taking my board to the MT. The only thing I dont like is when I travel I wish it had wheels because it gets heavy once I have all my gear in it.

Get one with wheels FOR SURE. Once youve got your board, bindings, boots and other gear in the bag it can get kinda heavy. Ive got a wheeled bag from K2 and it's bomb proof. It's been back and forth to europe 1/2 a dozen times and its still in great shape. I've also had to stuff it to the max a few times so you KNOW the baggage handlers are not being nice to my heavy ass bag! Smile

I picked mine up at GI Joe's. Not sure if there is one in Salem. If not if your in Portland ever, Gorge Performance had some at one time. REI and US Outdoor carries them as well. You could also check craigslist or ebay and maybe get one shipped to you.
