Forecast for weekend of the 26th looks like its going to be chilly, but WHO FUCKING CARES Razz!? There will be 30mph NW wind !!
get those kites out of the closet and begin preparing yourself.

How many times will you get to kite on water while it's snowing?

If your going to go for the "Balls of Steel Session" then I would recomend wrapping your steel balls with heat tape. Unless of coarse you dont mind if they freeze and fall off.

Heres a list of those going to the Siletz for the next available weekend session (if that be this weekend, all the better)

Spike

Woodpig
mauiwater
kataku2k3
kiteboard117

You may see yourself up here and think "WTF?"
Sorry, but we have to get some people out on the water.

Feel free to add yourself to the list

Siletz is kinda far for a day trip, especially when we're coming down from PDX. Once I finally get some booties/gloves, Tucker and I will probably be riding ponds quite a bit. I'll be watching Lincoln City though.

siletz also gets crowded pretty fast...especially on a low tide.

I'll be around that weekend, depends on the wind whether you see me or not!

since i am not local, i need a solid forecast to justify the hour and half drive out there. glad to hear you can kite if it looks good out the window, but i don't have that luxury. I kite on the bay because i prefer the flat-water over the waves.

The ocean in the storm winds is really dicey - as we've found. The bay is safe, & flat. Plus you won't die when the wind does. Wink
