any good towards the end of march? are spring breakers filling up the place?
what's the driving time and distance from cabo? how long on the bus?
how about recommendations for staying a few nights during the week?

sorry, i know all of this has probably been discussed before, but I'm looking for end of march specific.

thanks!

Water is WARM, winds are lighter, but generally still good for kiting.

No spring breakers make it to La Ventana, but Easter week (April 2nd to 8th) - known as Semana Santa is like our Memorial Day weekend. The beaches are filled with local families - camping and generally having fun.

La Ventana is about a 2 hour drive from the Los Cabos airport via the San Antonio Road cutoff. There is no easy way on the bus. Take the bus to La Paz and then take a taxi or find a ride.

Best place to stay is Baja Joe's. They have the best beach for kiting, and are definitely the center of kite boarding activity in La Ventana. http://www.bajajoe.com

See you there...

I stayed at Casa Verde and loved it. It's right between Baja Joes and New Wind. It has a large chilled out place to hang, nice rooms, and you end up meeting lots of new people. The owners are great.
