Patagonia is stepping it up with another advancement in wetsuits...enviro friendly too.

Got the hookup from a friend and he is sending one to me. I am stoked to try it out but I thought you techies all might dig seeing this.

Makes sense.
The rubber doesn't allow as much penetration of water or escape of heat.
The wool holds heat even when it's wet.
And at 3 mm it's super flexy.

Looks sweet. Just needs some windskin now. What's the damage to the wallet to get one of those though?

yea, usually patagonia stuff is pretty spendy, but you get what you pay for.

I heard that they inject the rubber with the smell of freshly minted dollars.

love the peanut gallery - surfers are bitter

my $80 ripcurl 5/3 off whiskeymilitia works fine (augmented with some duct tape for steaze)

speaking of whiskeymilitia: checkout this strapless toy for $140

I've kited and surfed the Patagonia 3mm (I though you did too Scott from the Cleanline demo, no?). 3mm was fine when I had it the late summer/fall. Kiting was fine too. I wasn't sweating but the water wasn't cold enough for booties either. Definitely a nice suit, the wool keeps you really warm and the fit was good for me.
