heya tony,
man i have always wanted to ride siletz, could you shoot me pm if you guys are going to make the trip and dont mind a tag-along? i got a short case of vitamin pacifico.
where do you set up out there? best at high tide? can you ride up the street from Mo's?

I say the best time is to get there a little before (1-2hours) before the peak at Low tide on a south wind day...So when the tide comes in from the north, your set....The place is shallow for ever when the water comes up.....

I recommend setting up further south on the beach - from where you park. You will have cleaner wind if the wind tends to shift a little from the SE.....
But I just checked the tide for the weekend...Doesn't seem too promising....Low tide is at 4:00 in the morning and 4:40 in the evening...
Might have to scratch that plan and go for a downwinder at Ft. Stevens... |
