Coast is showing promise but so is Sauvies...

Anybody going? I'm I reading right that the current should be opposing this afternoon at SI?

I would love to get some value out of my SI parking pass!

I am headed to Sauvies now....I am thinking it will be a nice day out there. Everyone is welcome to Sauvies, you will find no attitudes to deal with and generally everyone has a good time. HEIN and his custom deluxe new edition board "all red faced and pissed" can stay 110 miles away in his secret area, Rufus.

See ya'll out there, eh.

Any on site reports for us from the Sauvie's crew? Is it time to ditch work and head over there? Readings look good...wonder how late it'll blow.

Sauvie's put out today - it was the strongest wind I have seen at Sauvie's. It blew until the sun went down - I had to stop cus I was shivering - otherwise I would have kept riding until tomorrow morning Very Happy

Sauvies was awesome, powered 9m for me, even rode the 7m for a bit. Lots of friendly faces. Thumb's Up

I would have taken photos but I'm worried its going to get too popular. There were almost 20 people out there. Shocked

Oh my God, I agree....SI was epic... Shocked ....The wind was a little flucky here and there but no one should complain....It's mid-september - get over it...Get it as it comes....as for SI - that was as good as it has been all year...!
Kreamer and I got there (4:45 ish) as the wind was light...We thought we missed it...So he pumps up his 16 and I pump up my machine...Next thing you know...It's like "WTF... Shocked Shocked " Way over powered - Lit...could have been on 9's but too lazy to pump up another kite...

And Chanson....no dude...I am not going to call you to rub it in...
So you had to go to a concert - thats fine bro...
I see nothing wrong with choosing a "Yanni" concert over kiting... Wink
Good to see everyone out there...

Beautiful thing about sauvie's is that there is lots of open space! There was a bit of a crowd yesterday - but I walked up wind a little bit and was fine.

Yesterday's Scappoose readings. Sept always seems to put out at least one of these days when it blows pretty much all day, strong with some bigger variances in the wind (for SI). Tide was opposing as well for most of the day which helped too. Glad everyone got some. . . family in town for me so none for me yesterday.
