Am I alone when I say, "Turn on the Heater!"?

This summer was great, but it seemed a bit cooler than last year.

Hey fellas, I still haven't heard the fat lady sing...I was out on my shorts yesterday with no wetsuit...
I don't think it's that cold yet...Maybe next month, but I think summer is still here...You just have to drive a little farther east to get a little bit more blue sky...
I was out past Arlington yesterday/weekend (Boardman area where mom and pops live), and talk about a nuke fest Shocked ....Gusty like a motha Fu**.... And the wind was a little offshore (SW)....After an hour of solo carnage, I said fu** this sh**.... Shocked Better safe than sorry...
Point being, until I can see my breath, I think I'll still keep the wetsuit in the trunk... Wink

Tony - you are tougher than I am. I was shivering out at Hiver River over the weekend. Its time for me to break out my 4/3. I hope the winds keep blowing - cus the snow hasn't started to pile up on Mount Hood.

I don't know man...Mexicans are not made for the cold...Just like our salsa - we like it hot...I'm not as macho as you think....I bet I'll still have to break out the 4/3 sooner than expected....Now, if only these clouds would clear... Wink

Snowboarders wear a shell and pants in 30 degree air, snow and ice.
And no one is surprised when they are warm.

Kitesufers go into the 52 degree ocean in a wetsuit.
And everyone asks if we are cold?

It's really not a big deal.
We have it good...and wetsuits and rain keep the lame ass fair weather kiter crowds thin.
Love it.

thanks!

I'd rather kite in the rain than snowboard in the rain, I say bring it on! Although breaking down the gear in the rain at Lyle last weekend wasn't so fun...
