It's invisible! Laughing haha j/k. Nah, if you were serious, Forrest, it is attached to one of the front lines. It simply holds the line, and lets your bar run just far enough to kill the kite.

I was trying the new bar and it is sweet, but it seems like when you leash into the safety its not spinable without twists, is this true?

If you only loop or jump/spin in one direction and it winds up the center lines, then yea... You've got to disconnect the leash, unhook, or loop the other direction to get them out. I've been thinking about it forever ('cause it always bugged me on 5th line setups), and I don't see anyway that you could make it not wind up (hooked in - you're always going to be "stationary" when compared to the kite, right?)

Okay good to know. The swivel on my current bar doesn't work great anyway so I have gotten used to just unspinning it by doing tricks or loops the other way.

If it were me I think I'd still just leash to the chickenloop suicide style to have the spinnable bar. For waves the new SS frontline safety system would be a lot better than just leashing to the CL though.

I had the 9M out at Lyle yesterday when it was gusting up to 40 weighing in around 165lbs (is this really the new chick weight??), not normally something I could get away with, but the Rev is such a solid kite, both build wise, stability in the air, etc - and the SS bar is tough to beat.

Also have new respect for the 7M Waroo after yesterday...it's zip, zip, zippie - pure fun in high wind. Nice to have some solid choices in kites this year! Very Happy
