Mon Aug 25, 25 7:06 am SUPER Off-Topic... HR County Cell service |
|
|
Att cell has never been great in HR, but over the last week has been almost unusable if not on WiFi. Has anyone switched to TMb, or Vorz. and had a better experience?
Customer device has a 6 hour wait time so can't really even trouble shoot with them. ATT's and independent down detector showing "no issues" at 97031 zip code.
Happening to 3 different ATT accounts I have asked about, so it's not simply my phone having an issue.
Thanks,
Eric |

I've had few issues with my T-Mobile mobile phone service in Underwood, and have gotten solid signals and download speeds on my 5G modem while using it in Hood River, though I'm now too close to the tower on Mt Underwood to get line-of-sight with that (too many trees in the way).
That being said, my neighbors are getting better download speeds on their Verizon phones here in Underwood. Nobody I know has problems with either T-Mobile or Verizon in most of the Hood River area, except up in the BLM hills. From what I've seen and heard, Verizon seems to be the best service around here, and I'll be looking into it myself soon (as my phones die and I don't need as many lines as I did).
I had AT&T in the gorge from `99-`01 and it sucked. I worked jobs in Corvallis and Portland area back then, and it was spotty everywhere and non-existent when I'd windsurf in Newport or Land's End. I rented it to my housemate for a while when I was locked into a contract. I used the same phone in silicon valley from time to time and had problems with it there too, so I've not even considered AT&T since. (Back then all the AT&T numbers started with 541-490- so you know which of your friends had it).
Good Luck! |
